Collages of Digital and Analog Photographs

Ancestors (2021-) is an ongoing series of collages in which I recreate historical family photos and stand in the place of my ancestors. These collages portray the dialogue I am trying to have with my ancestors in order to find my identity and where I belong. The photos that are collaged in are snippets of more recent family photos, connecting the present with the past.
