Award-winning photographer and artist based in Ontario, Canada.

Sofia Sue-Wah-Sing is an Ontario-based artist working in analog and digital photography, collage, painting, and printmaking. Some of her work is political, using her positionality as a queer and multiracial person to speak on civil rights issues and identity politics or to critique the worldviews of powerful institutions. The other overarching theme in her work has been the analysis and portrayal of different psychological phenomena. She uses specific formal or auditory cues to evoke feelings in the viewer which relate to the concepts she explores. She wishes to combine psychology and art to explore the political and personal issues related to identity, pride, and shame.

Sue-Wah-Sing’s work has been shown or featured in Queen's Park, Sheridan College,  Blackwood Gallery, Greenwood Publication, BUFF magazine, and The Take Action Gallery. Her work was featured on the cover of BUFF magazine in 2021. She has also won multiple awards for her work in the Art and Art History program at the University of Toronto, Mississauga. She is currently a resident of the Visual Arts Mississauga Creative Residency.
